Mr. Thompson served as Project Manager for the $4.8M construction project to widen the US 281 north and south bound bridge structures over the Medina River. The project included construction of additional drilled shaft foundations, placement of precast concrete beams, and various HMAC and concrete pavement. The drilled shaft foundation work was especially difficult due to the highly erodible river bank and its volatile river.
