Mr. Thompson served as a project engineer on the project to reconstruct the Stassney Lane / Nuckols Crossing intersection in east Austin. Mr. Thompson was responsible for the geometric design of the proposed roadway, as well as traffic control and ADA compliance issues at the intersection. The geometric design was particularly challenging due to existing sidewalk ADA ramps and the need to match existing pavement grades within the limits of construction while eliminating a severe grade break in the main roadway.
