Mr. Thompson served as the Project Engineer for the construction project to provide extensive utility upgrades to this booming downtown area. The work included water and sewer main construction, as well as significant concrete and HMAC paving. In addition, Riverside Drive was completely reconstructed between South First Street and South Lamar Boulevard in order to provide a revised alignment for the new auditorium shores park. This reconstruction was particularly difficult because of the time constraint – the work needed to be completed in 3-months.
