Mr. Thompson served as the City of Austin Project Manager on the $4M project to address odor complaints received from businesses and residents near the existing Govalle Wastewater Tunnel. The centralized bio‐filter odor control facility was designed to reduce the frequency and severity of odors resulting from the escape of foul air from the existing Govalle Wastewater Tunnel. The bio‐filter facility provided corrosion protection for the existing Govalle Tunnel, shafts & laterals.
