Mr. Thompson served as the City of Austin Project Manager on the $5M project to design and construct approximately 0.8 miles of four lane divided arterial roadway, bike lanes, sidewalks, and associated utility upgrades in southwest Austin. In addition to the mobility improvements provided by the new vehicle, bike and pedestrian facilities, the project also involved extensive research, study, and analysis of local ground water hydrology, and the potential impact on sensitive cave features near the project area.
