Atlas oversaw the work performed on various tasks for multiple sidewalk and ADA improvements throughout the City as a subconsultant to MWM Design Group. The projects included work in residential areas, University of Texas campus areas, as well as Critical Arterial corridors. 

Specific projects include the Boggy Creek Trail Connection at Pedernales and the Ramos Street improvements. For these locations, Atlas provided preconstruction documentation, construction progress reports, and post construction photos of the site to document site conditions, construction progress and final work product of the completed sidewalk improvements.

Expansion of 183 South from Highway 290 on the north to Highway 71 on the South, adding tolled and general- purpose lanes, including relocation of 18 miles of water and wastewater lines. Atlas Design Services managed the packaging, scheduling, fast-track design and City permitting for eighteen miles of water and wastewater utility relocations, divided into twenty distinct constructions, and permitting packages. Atlas also reviewed construction phase submittals for utility work and managed the constructability reviews. Atlas managed design, QA/QC, and site plan permitting including review of temporary traffic control plans and submittal to AULCC and ROWMAN for contractors TURP permits on the portions of work within City ROW and easements. Atlas coordinated with the assigned GEC for approvals in the TXDOT ROW. Atlas also designed 8″ and 24″ water lines within packages 14 and 20 located inside TXDOT ROW. Sponsor agencies included TxDOT, CTRMA, and the COA.

a) Atlas Design served as the prepared the design for the large diameter water line replacement project. The project included over 1,000 LF of 24” diameter water main design along with the associated traffic control design for the project adjacent to Levander Loop in east Austin. 

b) Atlas served as the project principal, design engineer, project manager, and drafter for the large diameter water line replacement project. The project included approximately 200 LF of 24” diameter water main design along with the associated traffic control design for the project on Old Bastrop Highway in southeast Austin.
